Opportunities Abound to Use Water Wisely~!
The easiest, daily way is reducing Water flow when ~>handwashing<~

- Saving electriticy saves Water~! Energy production requires huge amounts of Water--for air conditioning, heating, refrigeration, lights, manufacturing, etc.
- A plastic pitcher in the shower captures Water as it warms for repurposing in a multitude of ways. A large pitcher in the kitchen sink captures rinse Water for plants and trees--so easy~!
- Reduce flow of Water when washing hands.
- When dripping faucets in Winter, contain and reuse the Water...and be surprised how much Water is captured.
- ...which illustrates how much Water is lost through leaks and drips...and inspires expeditous repair.
- Reduce frequency and duration of car washes.
- A clock in the bathroom helps shorten showers.
- Reduce the depth of bath Water.
- Turn Water off while shaving, brushing teeth and during other hygiene routines.
- Submerge a quart jar in older toilet tanks to effortlessly save Water.
- "If it's yellow, let it mellow..." is a common Water-saving toilet practice all over the World~!
- Monitor irrigation system frequency, duration, function & precision.
- Adjust landscaping species to align their Water needs with local ecosystems and climates.
